I WILL NOT COMPARE

Her complexion to mine,

The patience of her wavy hips,

To the way mine awkwardly dip when I'm walking,

Hug her hypnotic curves with envious eyes,

Disguise my figure,

Fantasize my thighs being much bigger,

I will not strangle my breast

With spandex and padding,

So strangers will be in awe of them,

I vow to swim in confidence,

Paddle to overcome the shallow end of desiring compliments,

I will not pray to have her life,

Her mind,

Her body.

I will always be thankful for my own.
