of your future apartment.

Tell you submissions of poetry won't pay the rent consistently every month,

Being a famous poet,

Is often off a stroke of luck,

Even then it's not guaranteed to bring in enough bucks to own property,

Definitely ain't as easy as dreaming,

Feels more like bleeding,

Describing your scars through ink,

For millions to read,

The reality breathes,

Our society doesn't appreciate poetry so much these days,

I force myself asleep again just to find another

Interesting alternative way

To both be happy and get paid.

They never say,

It takes praying,

Maybe sweat and tears

Blood can stay,

There is a way,

You can create stability

Through peace,

Inside is the power,

To reach

Hearts seeking

Lessons Yah teach. Still breathes;

Creative beings estatic to read.
